I was just intrigued by the info that it’s so good for the roots! Very interesting. Might get small one and try tradescantia or spider plant in it and see how they like it.
I wouldn’t really recommend them for tradescantia either as they prefer to sit in moist soil. These pots are not really for a mature growers more for large scale tree nurseries (although I’m sure the shop keeper may tell you different) Unless you are growing on trees to be planted out when they reach a large size that are on a permanent drip watering system they aren’t really any use.
The reason they are better for root development on trees is because as the roots reach the sides of the pot they don’t curl around like in traditional pots, the roots come out of the holes and just die off.
That is a very basic explanation I’m sure a bit more reading will explain it better than I have.
