Do you recommend fertilizer? Or compost?
I honestly never fertilize mine although I think I should and I will start soon, I would recommend succulent fertilizer I have seen it sold at Lowes and online. Only fertilize when succulents are growing not when they are dormant.
As with almost all succulents, low water (wait for soil to dry between waterings) and a well-drained pot, cactus-formulated substrate (generally a soil with a high sand component and lots of gravel or perlite) and lots of light but not directly into bright full sunshine. A pot in a south-facing window usually works pretty well. Enjoy!
