Cactus and Succulent Forums

I bought a pot full of different succulents from Trader Joe’s. A couple weeks later I realized it was almost rootbound. I split it up and the first 4 photos were taken shortly after I replanted this one. I don’t know WHAT it is, I’ve tried so many ID websites and apps and I can’t find a match or a name. I realized they had root rot when I came out one morning and they were laying down because they got too heavy so I cut the bad part off, stuck them back in the dirt, and they had looked better. Now they’re red and have root rot again.

I have 3 or 4 other different succulents in the same pot and they’re doing great. Just not these. Please help lol I don’t know what to do because I can’t identify them they look beat up because they had gotten hailed on for a couple minutes before I was able to run out and bring them inside.

Omg okay I see it under the various types of them thank you! Do you know if the red color change is good? I had to cut the rotten part off a second time so I’m going to try to propagate them instead of sticking them right back into the dirt because that didn’t work well.

The more sun the more red. Keep an eye out for mealie bugs as they love campfire.

Leaf propagating can be hit and miss. They don't take very long if you throw a bit of stem with some leaves on it into soil. Give them a few days to dry out at the cut end before you plant.
