Cacti dont want too much nitrogen as soft growth will make plants softer,i used chempak designed for cacti and succulents. Do you recommend fertilizer? Or compost? I honestly never fertilize mine although I think I should and I will start soon, I would recommend succulent fertilizer I have seen it sold at Lowes and online. It's not normal it's reaching for sun, it needs more sunlight. I love using a medium of 2 parts cactus soil, 1 part perlite and I prefer to plant mine in terra cotta pots with drainage holes or terra cotta strawberry planters. Its not a Euphorbia. It a Echinopsis cristata, crested caterpillar cactus
