I think - Terra cotta with a drainage hole. It is porous and absorbs excess water which helps prevent root rot. Yep! While it does allow the roots to retain the water it needs it dries out quick enough to where it’s not retaining extra unneeded water/ moisture. I have never found a terra cotta pot ...

Good book for identifying succulents/cactus?

Have any of you found a particularly good book for identifying succulents/cactus? If it gave species specific growing tips all the better.

Omg okay I see it under the various types of them thank you! Do you know if the red color change is good? I had to cut the rotten part off a second time so I’m going to try to propagate them instead of sticking them right back into the dirt because that didn’t work well.
